In 1946, Mr. Ho-Jin-Tuei founded “Tung Ho Hang”, the predecessor of Tung Ho Steel
In 1962, Tung Ho Steel started with ship breaking and scrap trading. This laid the foundation for Tung Ho Steel to become the most influential ship breaking company.
In 1965, Tung Ho Steel established the first deformed bar rolling plant in Kaohsiung (the Kaohsiung plant obtained JIS Mark certification in 1994). In the same year, the company began using broken steel plates from ships to roll deformed bars.
In 1975, Tung Ho Steel established the Ho-Jin-Tuei Foundation. The foundation began to award those who made outstanding contributions to society and the academic world in 1991.
1977, Tung Ho Steel established the first electric arc furnace (EAF) and continuous casting machine (CCM) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Kaohsiung Plant became an integrated steel mill.
1986 Tung Ho Steel acquired Taoyuan Bade Steel Plant from Sheng Chin Steel, an integrated steel mill with two 50-ton EAF furnaces and two deformed bar rolling mills (Taoyuan Plant acquired JIS Certification in 1995), (Bade Plant ceased production in 2010)
1988 Tung Ho Steel was listed on the stock exchange for the first time (IPO) under the name Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corp.


1993 Tung Ho Steel established the first H-beam rolling mill in Miaoli (Miaoli obtained JIS Mark certification in 2007).
1996 Tung Ho Steel established the second H-beam steel mill in Kaohsiung, which later became a mixed H-beam and deformed bar steel mill.
2010 Tung Ho Steel established the first deformed steel rolling mill without chimney in Taiwan’s New Taoyuan (New Taoyuan obtained JIS certification in 2011).
2016.01Tung Ho Steel acquired Fuco Steel Vietnam.
2016.05 Tung Ho Steel signed a contract with Danieli to install a deformed bar and profile rolling line.
2016.09 Fuco Steel Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Tung Ho Steel Vietnam Co., Ltd. (THSVC)
2018 THSVC is the first unit to produce deformed steel bars using a chimney-free steel rolling mill in Vietnam.
